While my peace seems so divided
why can't we just live united
a million people alone in the world
striving to find each other

a defeat caused by our greed
is all that we can now see

I'd like to think the world is not an "us against us" place. Probably more like a "me against myself" place, maybe when we win the war that's raging within our own souls we'll be able to evolve...
